My pinhole camera was designed out of a squarish cardboard box that was wide enough to easily fit the 8-inch side of the photo paper. At first, my partner Yeonji and I covered the bottom of the box with black duct tape to prevent the light to go through the seams of the card board. Then, we made a pocket-like object inside of the box for the photo paper to slide through when we take the photo. We cut out 2 rectangular chunks of small card board pieces about of 5' tall and 2' wide and duct taped them across from each other, each between two sides of the box. After that, we spray painted the inside of the box to the colour black to stop the unwanted light reflections. Now, we cut out a hole on the front side of the camera about the width of 2 fingers and ducted taped a piece of aluminim tin foil on the outside of the box right on the surface of the hole. We used a sharp pencil and poked a hole in the centre of the tin foil, creating the pinhole. At last, we glued 4 strips of coloured paper together on the top outside of our camera for decoration, resembling the "Instagram" logo.
