Progress Update
We took our fourth/last photo. Compared to all of our other photos, this one turned out the best. The contrast between black and white has become much stronger. The house, trees, road, and sky are all clearly visible.
Personal /Group Reflection
Yeonji was absent this science period, so I had to take the picture on my own. I had no particular difficulties this time, and I was pleased about my progress. There were no light leaks in the dark room, and I felt my 7-seconds counting was pretty accurate.
Condition the Picture was Taken in
My exposure time for the picture was 7 seconds this time. The weather was reasonably sunny with a few clouds blocking the sun. Again, I put the camera on the same bench facing the house across the school with the same distance and position, for an obvious comparison to my last three photos that has not worked entirely.
Photo Analysis
Our photo has improved for a fair amount, and it is the best photo we've taken out of all of them. It is quite effortless to make out the basic objects the picture contains. Although, the photo could have been a bit more exposed to the light since the original photo is still slightly whiter than it is needed. I think that the lengthened exposure time caused our last photo to grow extra successful.
Conclusions
I learned that it is crucial to make smart adjustments every time for photo-taking in order to have an effective photo. In our case, we tried to accurately extend our exposure time for every photo since our last few photos were all under-exposed. I also understood to never give up and face the challenges instead in order to achieve success at the end.
Ideas for Future Photos
Although this is our last photo, we would again have a longer exposure time to accomplish a even darker original photo.
