Progress Update
We took our third photo. Similar to our last photo, this one was mostly white again except for a few blocks of black at the top of the picture resembling the sky.
Personal /Group Reflection
Our partnership is still working well together. We both loaded the camera, and Yeonji was the camera man while I was the timer. We both feel great about our progress although we had two problems within that day. There was a leak in the dark room again, and I rushed a little when I counted the seconds. Despite of the problems, we were not concerned about the light leak in the dark room since our last picture turned out completely white.
Condition the Picture was Taken in
Our exposure time for the picture was 6 seconds this time. The weather very sunny, and it was a very bright morning. We placed the camera on the same bench at the edge of the school ground and took a picture of the same house across from the school, for the reason that the outcome of our pictures has not been exceedingly successful.
Photo Analysis
Our photo result was almost entirely white still with the same streak of dark line and parts of the sky on top of the photo paper. It has been under-exposed again with not enough light reaching in the pinhole. I think that the inaccurate exposure time and our very small pinhole were responsible for this photo turning out the way it did.
Conclusions
I learned that the exposure time enormously influences the consequence of the pictures. Too much time would cause a dark photo(over-exposed), while too little light would cause a light photo(under-exposed). It is very important to change the exposure time for the photo's likings and do a correct timing for the best aftermath.
Ideas for Future Photos
For the next photo, we plan to extend our exposure time even more to 7 seconds and rush less while counting for a darker shaded photo.
